Achaari Aloo

The slightly tangy and spicy flavours infused by Homemakerz Bedmi Aloo Masala, make this dish very special and is our absolute favourite. You can pair it with any Indian bread for a hearty meal.

1. Dum Aloo (500 grams)

2. Kalonji (1 teaspoon)

4. Chilli Flakes (1 teaspoon)

5. Mustard Oil (3-4 tablespoons)

6. Salt to taste


Step 1. Wash the baby potatoes well. If they are big then cut them in half.

Step 2. In a heavy bottom kadai, heat mustard oil to a smoking point.

Step 3. Add the kalonji and the potatoes together and toss on high heat for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4. Lower the flame and add Homemakerz Bedmi Aloo Masala and salt.

Step 5. Let it cook till done. Add chilli flakes at the end and toss well.

Step 6. Add fresh coriander and ginger julienne's to garnish.

Tip - Always add chilli flakes at the end, as they will not burn and retain the red colour.
