A spicy dish made with Homemakerz Multigrain Rice, lentils and vegetables. Enjoy a flavoursome, spicy and tangy meal made healthier using our Millet Rice.
1. Homemakerz Multigrain Rice (1 Packet)
2. Toor/Arhar dal (½ Cup)
3. Tamarind Pulp (2/3 Tablespoons)
4. Jaggery (½ Tablespoon)
5. Salt to taste
6. Ghee (2 Tablespoons)
7. Diced Mixed Vegetables (1½ Cup)
8. Curry leaves (8-10)
9. Hing (1 Pinch)
10. Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder (½ Teaspoon)
11. Mustard Seeds (½ Teaspoon)
12. Dry Red Chilli (2)
13. Besi Bila Baath Powder (1 Tablespoon)
Step 1. Boil the Homemakerz Multigrain Millet Rice as per instructions on the pack.
Step 2. Boil and mash the dal.
Step 3. In a pan take 1 tablespoon of ghee, add all the vegetables of your choice and cook till done.
Step 4. Add the dal, salt, jaggery, tamarind pulp and best bila baath powder, mix well and bring to boil.
Step 5. Gently add cooked Homemakerz Multigrain Millet Rice and mix well and turn off the flame.
Step 6. In a small pan add 1 tablespoon ghee once it is hot, add the dry red chilli, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and hing. Turn off the flame and add the red chilli powder.
Step 7. Pour over the besi bila bhaath and serve hot with papad.
