Plum & Mint Chutney is a perfect way to use up wonderful harvest of ripe plums & fresh mint before they rot. It not only enhances the taste of roasted pork, meat and chicken, but also a great way to preserve the fruit for anytime use. This recipe uses Homemakerz Red Chili Salt, which enhances its sweet taste by giving it a spicy touch.
Ingredients
1. Plum (250 grams)
2. Mint (1 Cup)
3. Green Chillies (2-3 or as per taste)
4. Sugar/ Jaggery (½ - 1 Teaspoon)
5. Homemakerz Red Chili Salt (1 Teaspoon or to taste)
6. Lime Juice (1 Tablespoon)
Method
Step 1. Peel the plums and cut them in small pieces.
Step 2. Wash and chop the mint leaves.
Step 3. In a blender, add all the ingredients and Homemakerz Red Chili Salt and make a puree.
Step 4. Add lime juice before serving.
Step 5. Serve this delicious sweet & spicy chutney with vegetarian & non-vegetarian starters as a dip or use it to marinate your meat or glaze your fish.
