Vegetable or chicken stew is a delicious meal with vegetables and/or chicken, simmered in a rich & seasoned vegetable or chicken broth with Homemakerz Thai Chili Garlic Sauce. It's one of our all time favourite meals & what could be better than serving it with Homemakerz gluten-free Millet Noodles.
1. Homemakerz Millet Noodles - Jowar/Bajra/Multigrain/Oats (1 packet)
2. Carrots (1-2)
3. Cauliflower Florets (7-8 nos)
4. Green Peas (1 cup)
5. White Onion (1thinly sliced)
6. Bay leaves (2)
7. Cloves (2-3)
8. Peppercorns (5–6)
9. Rai/Mustard Seeds (1/4 tsp)
10. Coriander Powder (2 tsp)
11. Fennel Seeds (1/2 tsp crushed)
12. Green Chilli (2 non spicy)
13. Ginger Paste (1/2 tsp)
14. Coconut Milk (1 ½ cup)
16. Salt to taste
17. Curry Leaves (6-8)
18. Homemakerz Thai Chili Garlic Sauce (1 ½ tsp)
19. Chicken Breast (1optional)
Step 1 - Boil water with a pinch of salt and a few drops of oil. Add Homemakerz Millet Noodles of your choice to boiling water, boil them for 4-5 minutes, strain & keep aside.
Step 2 - Cut all the vegetables into medium sized pieces.
Step 3 - Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, peppercorns, bay leaves, cloves & curry leaves. Allow them to crackle.
Step 4 - Add sliced onion and fry till transparent, add green chillies, ginger paste and vegetables and/or chicken. Stir for a few minutes.
Step 5 - Add coriander powder, coarsely ground fennel, Homemakerz Thai Chili Garlic Sauce. Add salt to taste.
Step 6 - Add 1 ½ cups of coconut milk and cook the stew.
Step 7 - Add the Homemakerz Millet Noodles just before serving the stew and bring to boil.
Step 8 – Serve hot & enjoy a tasty, healthy meal.
